Bio-identical hormone therapy is an interesting alternative for countering hormonal imbalances and menopausal difficulties. Treatment is administered through laboratory created, custom-made hormonal substances with a molecular structure identical to that of the hormones created naturally in the human body.

For whom is treatment suitable?

Women aged 40 or over, who experience menopausal symptoms, or symptoms of hormonal imbalance.

How is treatment carried out?

A blood sample is taken to measure hormonal deficiency. A recent mammogram and imaging of the uterus and ovaries is also necessary.

As a second step – after all possible contraindications have been ruled out – the replacement hormones are administered, either orally or by injection.

It should be noted that oestrogen, progesterone and pregnenolone, as well as DHEA and testosterone are used in their original form.
