Menopause – 43 to 50 years old

  • Menopause generally occurs after the age of 50 and is accompanied by various inconveniences which can sometimes be difficult to handle. We offer you a personalised treatment option in order to reduce these symptoms and to help you handle this stage of life with the utmost serenity.
  • What are the symptoms?
    • Hot flushes
    • Night sweats
    • Mood swings
    • Decreased sexual drive
    • Breast atrophy
    • Bone demineralisation (osteoporosis)
    • Dryness of the skin and mucus of intimate areas with accentuation of genital prolapse.
  • In some cases, peri-menopausal symptoms (essentially menstrual cycle changes) may be present from the age of 43 years onwards. Cessation of ovarian function at this stage (permanent amenorrhea) is classed as early menopause. This increases the risk of osteoporosis and premature aging of the body.
  • After reviewing all elements of the gynaecological consultation, the blood test and the pelvic ultrasound, and depending on the origin of the imbalance, we will begin rebalancing, restoring or triggering the cycle through a personalised hormonal treatment.
  • It is essential to exclude all oncological or cardio-vascular risks before the introduction of hormonal or bio-identical therapy.
  • A hormonal imbalance may also be the cause of fertility disorders. We carry out the necessary screening assessments and establish recommendations or treatments.
