- Preparing patients: welcoming them, settling them in, giving preoperative instructions, taking vital signs, preparing them for the operating room.
- Accompanying patients to the operating room: safe transfer of patients, coordination with the operating room team to ensure continuity of care.
- Postoperative care in the room, pain assessment, hydration, gradual feeding, light care (dressings, removal of stitches, blood tests).
- Medical monitoring and discharge criteria: checking vital signs, general condition, ability to walk, drink, and eat; discharge only permitted when accompanied by another person and after approval by the surgeon.
- Consultations and blood sampling: performing blood tests as prescribed and assisting with consultations.
- Coordination with the medical team: communication with doctors and nurses to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Monitoring and responsiveness: detect and alert for rapid intervention in the event of an emergency or post-operative complication.
- Followed by medical consultations.
- Management of medical administrative tasks (preparation of surgical files, scheduling appointments, etc.)
- Journées centrées sur le bloc opératoire et le suivi post-<opératoire.
- Close collaboration with the medical team under the direct supervision of the head nurse.
- Focus on quality, safety, and patient well-being.
- Certificate of Professional Competence in Community Health Care Assistant (CHCA).
- Expérience confirmée dans les soins au milieu hospitalier ou ambulatoire<
- Fluent in French, conversational English.
- Strong sense of empathy, service, and discretion.
- Comfortable dealing with a demanding international clientele.
- Strong interest in women's health and well-being.
- Commitment to the clinic's quality and safety standards.

In your role as a nurse, you will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Admit patients who have undergone surgery and provide pre- and post-operative care in accordance with protocols.
- Prepare and check patient files in preparation for their surgery and anesthesia consultations.
- Ensure monitoring, care, and instructions from the anesthesiologist and surgeon in the recovery room.
- Perform nursing care resulting from consultations (PS/IV insertion/postoperative care)
- Be responsible for recording nursing services
- Be responsible for maintaining equipment and keeping the recovery room tidy.
- You have a license to practice in the canton of VD.
- You have a good knowledge of English.
- You are a friendly and cheerful person.
