Dear patients,

At Clinique Suisse Montreux, we are committed to providing women with the latest health information, innovative treatments, and practical advice. Let's kick off 2025 by putting your well-being first with this month's highlights:

1. New at the Swiss Clinic Montreux: Dr. Chiara Carlino

2. Menopause and the impact of your environment

3. Longevity: Genes or lifestyle?

4. Product of the Month: NuSkin – Sunright 50

1. New at the Swiss Clinic Montreux: Dr. Chiara Carlino

Since January 2025, we have been pleased to welcome Dr. Chiara Carlino, who distinguishes herself through her comprehensive approach to medicine, combining clinical expertise and a holistic vision of well-being. She offers personalized care integrating conventional medicine and complementary therapies. Certified in Bach Flowers and a facilitator of the PSYCH-K® method, she welcomes all patients, at all stages of their lives, and supports them with kindness. 2. Menopause and the impact of your environment

Menopause is a natural stage in a woman's life, but it can vary greatly from person to person. Your neighborhood, race, and environment play a crucial role in the intensity of symptoms you experience, such as hot flashes, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and anxiety. Studies show that external factors, such as air quality, environmental stress, and even cultural habits, can influence this hormonal transition.

At Clinique Suisse Montreux, we understand that every woman experiences menopause uniquely. That's why we offer tailored solutions, such as personalized treatments with bioidentical hormones (BHRT), to better manage symptoms and improve quality of life during this transitional period. Curious to learn more about menopause and how your environment can influence this stage of life? Take our quick quiz to assess your symptoms and find out how we can support you.

3. Longevity: Genes or lifestyle?

What matters more for a longer life: your genes or your habits? Recent studies suggest that lifestyle factors, such as diet, exercise, and stress management, often outweigh genetic predispositions. A healthy lifestyle can add years to your life and life to your years.

Tips for longevity:

– Get active every day: Walking, yoga, or strength training can make a big difference.

– Eat smart: Incorporate more plant-based foods and reduce processed sugar. If you need personalized dietary recommendations, you can schedule an appointment with our nutritionist, Daniela Vigano. Book an appointment here.

– Manage stress: Practices like meditation can improve your mental and physical health.

4. Product of the Month: NuSkin - Sunright 50

Sun protection is essential for maintaining the health of your skin and preventing signs of premature aging. UV rays, even on cloudy days, can damage the skin, cause wrinkles, dark spots, and increase the risk of skin cancer. Regular use of sunscreen, especially on the face, creates a protective barrier against these harmful effects. Whether it's winter or summer, a quality sunscreen should be part of your daily routine to ensure healthy, luminous, and protected skin. Protect your skin, and it will repay you! This month, we would like to introduce you to Sunright 50, a high-protection sunscreen from Nu Skin. Formulated for the face and body, Sunright 50 offers optimal UVA/UVB protection while being hydrating and non-greasy.
